Levico offers a huge variety of entertainment opportunities. The city – Emperor Frank Joseph 1st named Levico a city on April 1st, 1894
It is the one and only place in the whole Trentino region featuring a renovated, well-known spa, along with one among the most beautiful and warmest Alpine lake resorts and unique forests and mountains (La Panarotta and the Lagorai chain, the Cima Vezzena and the plateau of Vezzena). It is impossible to list all the promenades and trails in and around Levico without running the risk to forget at least one.
Levico also boasts important historical buildings and monuments (i.e. the Old Tower in the city centre, called Torre del Belvedere), forts dated World War I that may be visited, centuries-old parks such as Levico’s jewel once pertaining to the House of Hapsburg. Our thermal city is particularly lively in summer time, with its typical, local shops lining up in the city centre streets and shows and events of all kinds going on everywhere.
Due to its strategic position in the middle of the Sugana Valley, Levico is directly connected by a modern highway to the administrative centre Trento (20km), to Bozen and Süd Tirol (60km) and to the arts capitals of Veneto: the Sugana Valley train is a very comfortable way to travel to Venice.
