Levico Terme mountains

Levico Terme is situated in the heart of Valsugana, surrounded by the impressive Lagorai range, the Altopiano di Vezzena and the Panarotta mountain, rightly considered to be among the most beautiful and striking Dolomite mountains. Extraordinary places, providing plenty of opportunities to all nature lovers in every season.

Our magic mountains can offer some unique experiences: you can venture on the Altopiano di Vezzena trails and stop at a typical mountain dairy to discover the flavours of cheese made according to tradition, or step into a roe-deer as you walk through the Panarotta rhododendrons or, again, cross over into the nearby enchanted Valle dei Mocheni, the kingdom of soft fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries), of mines and of the folklore and traditions of one of the most interesting ethnic minorities in Trentino. If you love trekking, we will be happy to advise you on the countless routes of varying difficulty level in the area, like the one leading to the small, uncontaminated lake Erdemolo or the many picturesque excursions on the Vigolana and Fravort mountains.

In winter the green gives way to the white of snow, and to fun on the ski slopes. In a few minutes drive you can reach the Panarotta 2002 skiing area, with downhill slopes of all difficulty levels and welcoming mountain huts set against one of the most enchanting views in the whole of the Dolomites. If you prefer cross-country skiing, Altopiano di Vezzena offers over 12 km (approx. 7 miles) of trails, some of which leading to the nearby cross-country skiing centres of Millegrobbe and Campolongo. And if you love adventure, do not miss an excursion with a husky-drawn sleigh!
